Our readership is diverse. Meet the Team
Kit has spent more than 25 years helping to build, launch and grow new business ideas in a variety of industries. He founded Liquor.com in 2009 and ran the business as CEO until its acquisition by Dotdash in October of 2019.
Prior to Liquor.com, Kit co-founded and helped build Finacity Corporation, the global leader in trade receivable securitization, and co-founded the Green Lake Group, an early-stage advisory firm specializing in business development, partnerships, fundraising and digital marketing for startups. He also served as a principal at eVolution Global Partners, a corporate venture investment firm, and helped launch Della.com, as director of business development, and Infant Advantage, running sourcing, manufacturing and retail distribution. Kit started his career at Gap Inc., where he ran global sourcing and production for several product divisions.

Favorite drink: Mezcal Negroni
Before joining Dotdash in 2013, Eric spent 10 years working in lifestyle media at Condé Nast, where he led operations and finance for various brands including Epicurious, Gourmet, and Brides.com.
Prior to Conde Nast, he worked in the business department at the New York Press, as well as in commercial and TV production.
Favorite bar: The NoMad Bar, New York City
Favorite drink: Tequila on the rocks
Alexis joined Liquor.com in August 2010, bringing more than 10 years of spirits and hospitality industry experience, including having worked at some of the best cocktail bars and with Team Enterprises, which represents the Bacardi USA portfolio. She develops trade-focused integrated marketing programs, works in collaboration with spirits brand partners and executes on all trade activations. Alexis is a liaison to the bartending community and is committed to the advancement of the hospitality industry and the professionals who power it.

Favorite drink: Gin Martini
Nadia is the editorial director at Liquor.com, where she's responsible for content strategy and leads editors and writers in all things drinks-related.
Prior to joining Liquor.com in 2016, Nadia held editorial positions at lifestyle and news media outlets that include Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Metro US, Newsweek Media Group, The New York Post, The Observer, Time Out and Us Weekly. She can point you to the best bar or restaurant near any NYC location and is amused by mixed metaphors.
She graduated from Harvard University, earning a bachelor’s degree in English.

Favorite drink: Bee’s Knees
Kathryn joined Liquor.com in 2020 and is an expert in the areas of drinks, food and travel. She previously worked as an editor at publications including Condé Nast Traveler and Robb Report. She earned a master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Favorite bar: The Barking Dog, Copenhagen
Favorite drink: Jungle Bird
Before joining Dotdash in 2018, Alison worked as a product manager at MyRecipes.com and CookingLight.com. She first began her career in product management at Time Inc. in the lifestyle media group working on Health.com.
She studied at Lehigh University, graduating with a B.A. in journalism and global studies.
Favorite drink: Tequila Soda
Todd is Instagram editor at Liquor.com, where he curates the most visually appealing drinks content for the social media platform. He is a photographer, writer and video producer who has previously worked at Everyday Food, The Food Network and Saveur. He’s also an editor-at-large for Tasting Table and co-authored the site’s cookbook, "Cooking with Friends."
He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America.

Favorite drink: Manhattan
Brooke is the social media manager at Liquor.com and joined Dotdash in 2019. She previously spent nearly two years as the social media editor at Real Simple and has worked as a writer, print and digital editor, social media manager, and production assistant at various other brands, including Brides, Fitness Magazine, Parents, Shape and Thrillist.
Favorite bar: Low Fidelity, Jersey City

All of our writers were carefully chosen for their extensive experience in their subject areas.
Kara is a prolific cocktails and spirits writer who has contributed to Liquor.com since 2014. She has written six books about cocktails and was a finalist in the category of Best Cocktail and Spirits Writer at the 2019 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. In addition to writing for Liquor.com, she’s the spirits editor at Wine Enthusiast magazine, and her work has appeared in outlets including The Atlantic, Bloomberg, The New York Times, Punch and The Wall Street Journal. Her television and radio credits include Martha Stewart’s Everyday Food on Sirius Radio, Heritage Radio Network and The Splendid Table. Kara is also a cocktail consultant and recipe developer.

Amy has contributed to Liquor.com since 2014 and has written about wine, spirits and food for two decades. Her work has appeared in Brides, Imbibe, Whiskey Advocate and Wine Enthusiast, among others. She also consults for wine and spirits purveyors and for restaurants, helping to develop their cocktail programs, and judges wine and spirits competitions, including the American Craft Spirits Association annual competition and the New York Wine & Food Festival. She holds a Level III certificate from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
Tyler Zielinski is a freelance writer covering drinks topics ranging from cocktail history to sustainability and bar technique. He has competed in cocktail competitions and served as a cocktail consultant. In addition to his work for Liquor.com, Zielinksi has written for Condé Nast Traveler, Departures, Imbibe, Punch, VinePair and Wine Enthusiast.

Céline is a freelance journalist and photographer specializing in wine, spirits and travel. She is based in New York and has been writing for Liquor.com since 2016; her writing and photography also has appeared in publications including Elle Décor, Harper's Bazaar, Saveur, Time Out New York, Town & Country, USA Today, VinePair, Wine Enthusiast and more.
Vicki writes about wine and travel, and previously worked as a wine consultant and buyer. She has contributed to Liquor.com since 2020, and her writing also has appeared in Decanter, Departures, Food & Wine and Wine Enthusiast. She is a certified wine specialist who splits her time between New York City and Paris, and has worked in the wine trade since 2013.
